Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accurate registration and room allocation.
- Manage phone inquiries, reservations, and walk-ins with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests immediately and escalate complex issues to management.
- Process payments accurately using the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with concierge services, including local recommendations and transportation arrangements.
- Update guest profiles and maintain accurate records in our database.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude are a must.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light luggage.
