Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary paperwork and payments are processed accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries regarding room availability, rates, and local attractions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby at all times.
- Handle guest complaints and requests with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues when necessary.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with strict attention to detail.
- Assist with mail services and package deliveries for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk reception is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED required.
