Responsibilities
- Train and supervise front desk team members on guest service protocols
- Manage check-in/check-out processes and resolve guest inquiries
- Oversee room inventory and coordinate with housekeeping department
- Implement upselling strategies for premium rooms and amenities
- Handle escalated guest complaints with professionalism
- Maintain accurate financial records for daily transactions
- Collaborate with sales team for group bookings and events
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel front desk management experience
- Proficiency in Opera or similar property management systems
- Exceptional conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Valid Ohio Food Handler's certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Associate's degree in Hospitality Management preferred
- Strong knowledge of Columbus tourism attractions
