Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service during check-in/check-out processes with efficiency and warmth
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing inquiries with precision
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests promptly
- Utilize hotel management software (Opera) to maintain accurate guest records
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and reconcile daily transactions
- Act as a local resource for guests regarding attractions, dining, and transportation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of front desk or customer service experience in hospitality
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Los Angeles geography and attractions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
