Responsibilities
- Manage daily shift operations including guest check-ins, room assignments, and VIP service coordination
- Lead and mentor 8-12 staff members during assigned shifts (day/night/weekends)
- Resolve guest concerns with exceptional service standards and operational efficiency
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance departments for seamless operations
- Monitor inventory and handle cash management procedures during shifts
- Execute emergency protocols and ensure safety compliance throughout property
- Conduct shift handovers and maintain detailed operational documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel supervisory experience with proven shift leadership
- Proficiency in PMS systems (Opera, Cloudbeds) and hotel management software
- Exceptional conflict resolution and crisis management abilities
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong knowledge of Miami tourism landscape and local attractions
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency highly valued
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean background record
- Hotel school certification or equivalent industry training preferred
