Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations during assigned shifts ensuring seamless guest check-in/check-out
- Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and daily team briefings
- Handle escalated guest concerns with professionalism and resolution focus
- Monitor inventory control for guest supplies and operational materials
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for property standards
- Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures during all shifts
- Train new staff on hotel systems and service excellence standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel/hospitality management experience with shift work background
- Proven leadership skills in high-volume service environments
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays without exception
- Advanced knowledge of PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Strong conflict resolution and multitasking abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Maryland Food Handler's and Alcohol Service certifications required
