Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic roadmaps for emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Author high-impact thought leadership pieces published in Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review, and Wired
- Establish partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and World Economic Forum for future-focused initiatives
- Design predictive analytics models using proprietary foresight frameworks
- Mentor a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and design thinkers
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and investor community
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of publishing disruptive foresight frameworks (e.g., scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executive action
- Portfolio of 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Oxford)
- Fluency in at least one strategic planning methodology (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE, or Six Thinking Hats)
