Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, bioengineering)
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing innovation pipelines and proof-of-concept projects
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align strategy with business objectives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and key stakeholders
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers on future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy/innovation roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record in launching future-facing products (AI/quantum/bio)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends and market disruption patterns
- Exceptional leadership skills managing cross-functional global teams
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CSF, Foresight Practitioner)
- Strong financial modeling and budget management experience
