Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Planning: Define and execute the technical roadmap for systems destined for deployment by 2026, ensuring alignment with company long-term goals.
- High-Level Architecture: Design robust, scalable, and secure system architectures that can withstand future technological shifts.
- R&D Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in research and development to prototype and validate futuristic technologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and secure buy-in for high-risk, high-reward projects.
- Technology Evaluation: Continuously assess emerging technologies (AI, Space Tech, Advanced Computing) to determine their applicability to our infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Systems Architecture, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (PhD preferred).
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and AI integration patterns.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to write clear documentation and present technical strategies to executive leadership.
