Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential for next-gen applications
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration, ensuring alignment with market demands and ethical frameworks
- Drive innovation sprints focused on solving climate resilience, personalized medicine, and autonomous systems
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and incubate breakthrough startups in emerging tech sectors
- Present technology forecasts and innovation blueprints to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish ethical guidelines for AI deployment and quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with proven experience in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, or biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with PhD preferred
- Track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies with 3+ product launches
- Deep expertise in futures forecasting methodologies and technology adoption curves
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate complex tech concepts into business value
- Published research in top-tier journals or conference proceedings (NeurIPS, Nature, etc.)
- Certification in AI ethics or quantum computing from recognized institutions
- Experience securing $10M+ in research funding from government or corporate sources
