Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and executing 5-year innovation roadmaps for next-gen technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for emerging technologies with measurable KPIs
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage innovation portfolio valuation and risk assessment for $50M+ R&D budget
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ years in innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies from ideation to market
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: generative AI, quantum applications, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Strong financial acumen with experience in R&D budgeting and ROI modeling
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or similar preferred
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
