Job Description
We are at the precipice of a technological revolution. As we look toward the year 2026 and beyond, the gap between artificial intelligence and human cognition is closing. Nexus AI Systems is seeking a visionary Future Tech Lead (AI Architect) to design the foundational architectures for our next-generation AGI models.
In this role, you won't just implement existing solutions; you will define the standards for how machines learn, reason, and interact. If you are driven by the prospect of building systems that redefine what is possible in 2026, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen AI: Design and oversee the development of scalable, robust, and secure AI systems capable of handling complex, multi-modal tasks in the 2026 landscape.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives focused on Reinforcement Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Autonomous Agents.
- System Integration: Integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities into core products, ensuring seamless performance and low latency.
- Team Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture, mentoring junior architects and data scientists in best practices for scalable AI.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Translate business goals into technical roadmaps, anticipating future trends in AI hardware and software convergence.
- Compliance & Ethics: Establish frameworks for ethical AI usage, ensuring our systems are transparent, unbiased, and aligned with global regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in deep learning and machine learning architecture.
- Technical Mastery: Extensive knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; proven experience deploying models at scale (MLOps).
- Future-Forward Mindset: Demonstrated ability to anticipate and implement emerging technologies relevant to the 2026 tech stack (e.g., edge AI, neuromorphic computing concepts).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems in unstructured environments.
- Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
