- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, quantum internet) for commercial viability
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for R&D collaboration
- Present futuristic roadmaps to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor a team of futurists and technologists in ethical innovation practices
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy forums shaping 2026+ regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech adoption
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or synthetic biology
- Published research or patents in next-generation technologies (2019-2023)
- Experience scaling tech innovations from concept to market leadership
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS certification) or equivalent
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex interdependencies
- Portfolio of 3+ successful tech transformations with measurable impact
