Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging tech trends
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, etc.)
- Define KPIs for tech adoption and innovation ROI
- Secure $2M+ annual funding for strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in CS, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (e.g., Nature Tech Review)
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital
