Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future tech solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Conduct competitive analysis and market trend forecasting for disruptive technologies
- Manage innovation lab budget and resource allocation for R&D initiatives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Document strategic frameworks and publish thought leadership in industry forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough tech products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience with scenario planning and future-state modeling
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in technology management or strategic planning preferred
