Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging fields (quantum AI, bio-digital interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and designers to prototype next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 5-10 year commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present future-tech frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive sustainable technology adoption across global operations
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven experience developing 5-10 year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotechnology, or climate tech
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences (NeurIPS, Nature, etc.)
- Deep understanding of emerging regulatory frameworks for future technologies
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of futuristic concepts
