Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify opportunities for 2026 market disruption
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and industry forecasts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and tech innovators
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
- Mentor junior strategists and foster cross-departmental innovation workshops
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and translating them into actionable strategies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on tech innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and market modeling
- Strong communication abilities to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments
- Prior experience in San Francisco Bay Area tech ecosystem preferred
