Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption trajectories
- Develop and maintain a strategic technology roadmap aligned with 2026 industry forecasts
- Quantify ROI and risk profiles for emerging tech investments (quantum, neuromorphic, etc.)
- Present executive-level briefings on tech disruption scenarios and mitigation strategies
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions using emerging frameworks
- Establish KPIs for technology maturity tracking and competitive benchmarking
- Author annual 'Future Tech Impact' reports for C-suite and board audiences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI/ML, quantum, or biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical innovation frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Experience building cross-functional tech innovation labs
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
