Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, focusing on quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sentient AI
- Lead strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Conduct horizon-scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 5-7 year market impact
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation across emerging tech verticals
- Mentor a team of 15 futurists and innovation specialists
- Publish annual 'Tech Horizons 2026' industry report
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in exponential technology trends (Moore's Law, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network with academic researchers and industry pioneers
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
