Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AR/VR, autonomous systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption cycles
- Partner with R&D to translate academic breakthroughs into commercial applications
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Manage innovation portfolio with $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation
Qualifications
- 8+ years in tech strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record launching tech products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Strong network with academic institutions and tech labs
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
