Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market forecasts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and launch 3-5 disruptive products annually
- Establish KPIs for tech adoption ROI and track innovation pipeline maturity
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members securing $200M+ funding rounds
- Build and manage a global network of academic and industry innovation partners
- Author thought leadership published in Nature Technology Review and Harvard Business Review
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record launching at least 2 category-defining tech products
- Deep expertise in at least 2 emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotech)
- Executive-level proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Published research or patents in high-impact journals (IEEE, ACM, Nature)
- Fluency in strategic planning tools (e.g., Horizons Framework, Porter's Five Forces for Tech)
