- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential (e.g., synthetic biology, quantum AI)
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous systems integration
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums shaping 2026+ regulations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with proven impact on future-tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, biotech, AI, blockchain)
- Executive-level experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Published research or patents in future-tech fields (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
