Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AR/VR, and synthetic biology innovations
- Lead research initiatives into post-quantum cryptography and decentralized AI governance frameworks
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire breakthrough startups in deep tech
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine augmentation technologies
- Present futuristic product concepts to C-suite executives and industry thought leaders
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technology incubation projects
- Coordinate with UN agencies on sustainable technology standards for 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record delivering commercialized futuristic products (e.g., quantum apps, brain-computer interfaces)
- PhD in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or related field with published research in Nature/Science
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Experience securing federal grants for future-tech initiatives (DARPA, NSF, etc.)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and systems thinking methodologies
