Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology roadmap with 5-year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional task forces on quantum AI, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Forge partnerships with NASA, MIT, and DARPA for next-gen R&D initiatives
- Present tech disruption scenarios to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $50M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Author 'State of Tech 2026' whitepapers read by Fortune 500 executives
- Mentor PhD fellows in emerging tech commercialization pathways
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI ethics or quantum computing
- Track record of launching products with >$1B market impact
- Security clearance or government tech advisory experience preferred
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Proven ability to translate complex tech concepts into board-level narratives
- Experience with ISO 21448 (SOTIF) and IEEE 7000 standards
