Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026-2030 strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain a dynamic technology roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops and hackathons
- Conduct competitive analysis and emerging technology assessments
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and manage a network of industry futurists and academic partners
- Drive prototyping of experimental technologies with R&D teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum, bioinformatics)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- Experience with technology lifecycle management and patent strategy
- Strong presentation skills with executive audience experience
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
