Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify innovation opportunities
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technological visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage R&D budgets and resource allocation for future tech initiatives
- Drive patent strategy and IP protection for novel innovations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- Strong background in agile development and rapid prototyping
- PhD or equivalent in relevant STEM field preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or grants
- Published thought leadership in future technologies
