Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) targeting 2026 implementation
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning tech advancements with market demands
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future tech into product roadmaps
- Mentor cross-functional teams in cutting-edge methodologies
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with measurable ROI targets
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or sustainable tech
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier
- Experience securing $1M+ in government/private innovation grants
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
