Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies with 5-year impact horizons
- Lead R&D initiatives in AI ethics, quantum applications, and climate tech
- Partner with C-suite to align tech innovation with business objectives
- Build and mentor high-performing teams of futurists and engineers
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and investor relations
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory landscapes for competitive advantage
- Drive patent portfolios with 15+ new IP filings annually
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Proven track record scaling AI/quantum solutions from concept to market
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (FDA, FCC, EU AI Act)
- Strong network in Silicon Valley VCs and academic institutions
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
