Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-secure communication systems
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-generation neural interface technologies
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through strategic partnerships
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite stakeholders and industry consortiums
- Drive patent development for at least 3 core technologies annually
- Mentor junior researchers in cutting-edge applied sciences
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record scaling R&D teams from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Published research in top-tier journals/conferences (NeurIPS, Nature, etc.)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Experience securing government innovation grants or venture capital
