Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with transformative potential for 2026 market landscapes
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with C-suite vision and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with global research institutions and venture capital firms
- Present technology forecasts and implementation strategies to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting future technology adoption
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track technology maturity curves
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Executive-level communication skills for translating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Published research in IEEE Nature or top-tier innovation journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for speculative technologies
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology horizon scanning
