Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech fusion, neuromorphic AI) to create 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen products with $5M+ annual budgets
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Partner with C-suite to align technological vision with business objectives
- Present findings to investors and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior engineers in emerging technologies and ethical AI deployment
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on cutting-edge research projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record launching disruptive technologies (quantum/AI/biotech focus)
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong background in patent law and intellectual property strategy
- Experience presenting to C-suite and boards with executive-level communication skills
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent industry impact
- Certification in Technology Strategy from Stanford/MIT or similar institution
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
