Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate 2026-viable technologies
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with research institutions
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technology adoption curves
- Present strategic recommendations to the Innovation Board
- Mentor junior futurists in technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends
- Fluency in scenario planning and horizon scanning techniques
