Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-forward solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor global tech policies and regulatory impacts on innovation strategies
- Drive internal innovation workshops and hackathons to cultivate future-focused talent
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in future forecasting methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with patent strategy and IP development in tech innovation
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech transformation initiatives
