Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Identify and evaluate disruptive tech trends (quantum, neuromorphic, biocomputing)
- Develop cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for R&D initiatives
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board
- Manage $10M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Lead ethics and sustainability frameworks for future tech deployments
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering with 10+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from lab to market
- Expertise in at least 3 of: quantum computing, AGI frameworks, neurotech, or climate tech
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals or equivalent impact
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, etc.)
