Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains including quantum AI and neurotech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype disruptive solutions
- Analyze global tech trends to identify competitive opportunities and risks
- Partner with VPs to align R&D investments with strategic business objectives
- Present future-vision frameworks to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage technology incubation programs for high-potential innovations
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough technologies in development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon scanning)
- Strong network connections with academic and industry research institutions
