Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology adoption roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation governance frameworks ensuring ethical and sustainable tech integration
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation across future technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, or synthetic biology
- Certified in Strategic Innovation Management (SIM) or equivalent
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futurism
