Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop comprehensive 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Architect strategic frameworks for integrating next-gen technologies into enterprise ecosystems
- Present compelling technology vision narratives to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and business analysts
- Establish KPIs and measurement systems for technology adoption success metrics
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech experience
- Proven track record of successfully launching at least two disruptive technology initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, quantum computing) and their commercial applications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to boards and investors
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy (articles, patents, etc.)
