Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough AI, quantum, and biotech solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Manage technology incubation programs with $20M+ annual budgets
- Establish industry partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech adoption curves
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in launching breakthrough commercial tech products
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging fields: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or partnerships
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Certification in technology forecasting (e.g., Gartner, Forrester) a plus
