Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Identify and validate emerging technologies with $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Present strategic futures to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Manage portfolio of 8-12 moonshot projects with agile methodologies
- Drive patent development for proprietary 2026-era innovations
- Mentor junior futurists in technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proven track record launching tech products with $100M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or Technology Strategy certification preferred
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across 3+ time zones
