Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster ideation and prioritize R&D initiatives
- Analyze competitive landscapes and patent landscapes to position company as industry disruptor
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications and conference presentations on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management experience with C-suite executives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism
- Experience working with agile methodologies and rapid prototyping
