Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with engineering, design, and product teams
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present technology strategies to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Manage innovation budget allocation and resource optimization
- Ensure all initiatives align with ESG principles and ethical AI frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
