Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to develop 3-5 year strategic plans
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize innovation opportunities for 2026 market readiness
- Develop ROI models and business cases for experimental technologies with $5M+ budget oversight
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and integrate next-gen startups into our ecosystem
- Create executive-level trend reports with actionable recommendations for board-level decision-making
- Design and implement technology readiness assessments across all business units
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or decentralized AI
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Experience building innovation pipelines in Fortune 500 or hyper-growth tech environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry whitepapers
