Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy across AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in incubating moonshot projects with 3-year commercialization roadmaps
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 R&D divisions
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to the board of directors
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, patent development, and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or startup unicorns
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and investment committees
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or similar strategic foresight accreditation
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Harvard Business Review, or equivalent
