Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech interfaces) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate breakthrough technologies into core products
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budget allocation
- Mentor senior engineers and publish thought leadership content
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech forecasting
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Proven track record scaling tech products to $100M+ ARR
- Expertise in quantum computing, generative AI, and neurotech
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or major industry publications
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($10M+)
- Deep network within DARPA, NSF, and global innovation ecosystems
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi)
