Responsibilities

- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead ideation workshops for next-gen products using futures thinking methodologies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Build stakeholder relationships with venture capitalists, academic institutions, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership on technological convergence and its societal impact
- Manage $10M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI and risk assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology roles with proven track record of commercializing innovations
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published research on technological forecasting or disruptive innovation
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic impact on product launches or market shifts
