Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026+ landscape, identifying disruptive innovations across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Conduct ROI analysis and risk assessments for emerging technology investments
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Manage cross-functional innovation projects with engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Build and nurture relationships with venture capital firms, research institutions, and startup ecosystems
- Author thought leadership content on future technology trends and their business implications
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with proven track record in emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps and executing innovation portfolios
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to executive audiences
- MBA or advanced degree in technology, engineering, or business strategy preferred
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technology fields
- Experience in venture capital, corporate innovation labs, or tech foresight consulting
