Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 business objectives and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor competitive tech landscapes and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, papers, or keynotes)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
