Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and sustainable tech
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to prioritize technology investments and resource allocation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry labs for joint innovation projects
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors and investor community
- Oversee a cross-functional team of 15+ engineers and researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products with $50M+ ARR impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Strong financial acumen with experience in technology valuation and ROI modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
