Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with 20+ engineers and researchers to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions for technology adoption
- Develop market entry strategies for disruptive technologies with $50M+ potential impact
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members driving $2B+ investment decisions
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies and exponential technology scaling
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience securing federal grants and venture capital for deep-tech initiatives
- Prior work with DARPA, NASA, or similar innovation ecosystems
