Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-focused solutions
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and integrate emerging startups
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for measuring impact of future technologies on business growth
- Curate thought leadership content on 2026 technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching at least two future-oriented products/services
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published future technology forecasts
